My web directory is a website with huge collection of different websites well organized in relevant categories. It has all the features useful for the website owners to get relevant traffic to there website and also helps to improve the search engine ranking.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
To find websites I always use search engines like google but one day I thought that I can have my own website which has a huge collection of websites well arranged with subject. This would help all the searchers to find there requirements at one place and make them easier to find the products they are looking for. This inspired me and I decided to launch this website.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My 1st website was launched some 3 months ago and this was all about PPC and SEO the 2 powerful tools of Search Engine Marketing. I am an SEM Professional and wanted people to understand the online marketing concepts.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
For this website I thought of the name because I used this keyword "A Directory Submission" to search directories on google, so that was always in my mind.
What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?
I take care that most of the Websites that are submitted they are approved in about 4/5 hours maximum on weekdays. This is very rare in this business.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
Keep this website for myself for a long time and definitely for my own income.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
The time that I invest in making money is always more than the time that I use to spend it.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I am a SEM Professional and working on internet is my second love. If I have unlimited buget for development I would have my own 20 websites and keep on promoting them to improve the search ranking. This would also help me earn regular money for my future.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes, rather I am planning to launch few more similar websites.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Nothing much so far.
What has been your biggest challenge?
I am not a website developer but the biggest challenge for me was to launch this website on my own and make it workable.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
I was targeting about 10 unique visitors a day, but I am getting 40+
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
Its been 1 month + so far and willing to continue for my lifetime.
